The Stewards of the Voyage Forward Public Engagement Team created a community wide opinion survey which was conducted from June 22 through July 10, 2015. The survey took about 15 minutes to complete. The results of the survey enabled us to develop specific goals or “destiny drivers” with action plans to make our community the best possible place to live, work, and raise a family.
This was an anonymous survey that did not attribute responses to any one individual. The respondents remained anonymous and the opinions were aggregated with everyone responding.
Questions on the survey were based on the themes identified in the FOUR Questions process focused on education, healthcare, business development and jobs, housing, government services, tourism, recreation, and much more. This was our opportunity to voice our opinion on the issues affecting our cities and county. Citizens took the time to participate and help shape the future of our region.
For those without a computer or Internet access, there was a limited number of paper copies available at the following locations:
Again the results of the survey enabled us to develop specific goals or “destiny drivers” with action plans to make our community the best possible place to live, work, and raise a family.
Destiny drivers provide regional, city, and community leaders, both public and private, with the kind of timely information they need to take action based on community input and priorities. Destiny drivers provide a road-map for future decisions and alignment, setting into motion the changes we as a community want to see.
