Destiny Driver

To Position the Voyage Forward Region as a Quality Tourism Destination

“In order to grow tourism, and add dollars to our economy, we need to collaborate and plan as a region as a whole. This Destiny Driver will build local awareness of how important tourism is to our region. It is imperative that our tourism industry prosper and grow along with our community. In order to accomplish this, there needs to be broad based support and a shared vision. We are competing for tourist’s in a global marketplace and have to be prepared to tell our story.” said Tourism Destiny Driver Co-Champion, Eric Johnson.   “Our efforts will include supporting regional tourism development and enhancing a broad community understanding of the many benefits of a thriving tourism industry” offered Co-Champion, Sherril Gautreaux.
